Terpsichore is the Greek Muse of dancing and choral song. This allegretto is in alternating 3/8 and 2/4 time (keys of Bb and Eb) and employs lots of jaunty rhythms which interchange between players in canonic fashion. This is a great rhythmic and articulation study for later intermediate players, and a good high school trio with a good lead player would enjoy this.
