The late great Charlie Parker was the incentive for this bop style blues featuring an alto sax and trombone duet. The melody and sax soli are conceived from "Bird-like" lines. Straight ahead figures and medium tempo make this piece very playable for most bands. Commissioned by the Nokomis H.S. Jazz Ensemble. Terry White is one of the best arrangers for big band and marching band.
