This is a theatre piece in which the 7 B-flat trumpeters gradually peel off to assume roles seemingly unrelated to music. As they take up these role activities (phone calls, carpentry, conversation with audience, pinball, reading, etc.), sounds are produced that take over the piece and inject it with a new attitude. Players need props such as a telephone, wood, saw, junk food bags, noisemakers, etc. The piece ends suddenly, leaving a feeling of horror after what had been a rather pleasant and amusing experience. Fun for the audience.
