This four movement work uses C trumpets with an optional Eb trumpet part, and is recommended as core literature for the quintet. The first movement is an Allegro con spirito with fanfare passages. The second movement is a lovely andante chorale. The third movement is a playful Minuetto, and the last movement is a jocular rondo.
