An energetic and rhythmically driven piece in da capo form. The opening has fourths in the right hand over big left hand jumps. The melodies in the next section are played by the left hand crossed over the right and are hauntingly beautiful. The B section contains smaller intervals in a shifting driving rhythmic pattern. A delight to work on and a real student saver!Chave has won many awards for his compositions.
