This transcription of the Sinfonia from Rossini's The Barber of Seville for seven trumpets is suitable for advanced high school or college trumpeters. It has been performed at the International Trumpet Guild's annual conference, by major universities around the United States, and by several high schools. The transcription gives every player parts of melodic interest and is playable by an ensemble of B flat or C trumpets. The range of the music goes from "low F# to B above the staff. The transcription is faithful to the original orchestral score and is a real showstopper. Highly recommended.
