This very humorous piece takes the nursery rhyme tune through some interesting permutations! Some parts are quartal and quintal chords with a very syncopated tune. In other parts, there is a walking, sometimes chromatic bass line, with a punctuated melody in the right hand. The articulation and style work is challenging for an intermediate student. Good choice for adults as well.
