The composer writes, "Dream Street is a jazz ballad to be played in a dreamy style, making the melody sing like a tenor saxophone. It can be played as written, or as a vehicle for improvisation. If you choose to improvise, I have included the chord symbols. The melody should be stated before the improvisation, and played again at the end, going to the coda as a closing statement."
