This trio for trumpet, horn and trombone was written for the University of Dayton Brass trio. It is in three movements- A Satiric Dance, A Simple Dance, and A Congressional Dance. The latter was inspired by the cartoon dance sequences of political cartoonist, Jules Feiffer. These sequences follow an imaginary performer with appropriate commentary.This would be a nice choice to lighten up a program.
