Written in honor of Robert Leblanc's 25 years of tuba teaching at Ohio State University, A Time For... is two short movements for unaccompanied tuba and was inspired by the famous "a time for" passage in the third chapter of Ecclesiastes. The first movement is free-flowing and lyrical while the second movement is dance-like and rhythmic. Excellent piece for college and professional players but also appropriate for good high school tubists.
